The Miracast function on the DMP-BDT230 supports display mirroring using Wi-Fi Direct technology, so they can receive motion image content from a Wi-Fi device and play it on a TV. Even without a Wi-Fi access point in your home, you can display movie content played by your smartphone on the TV screen via a player. This lets you share the content you used to enjoy alone on your personal device with other people by displaying it on a large-screen TV.

DLNA-certified Player is easy to use with your home network. Share and enjoy digital photos (JPEG), music (MP3, WMA) and videos (AVCHD, WMV) by simply connecting to a network (LAN). For example, you can install a special App on your smartphone and use it to access a DLNA-certified PC via a Wi-Fi router in another room. The PC works as a DLNA server where your collection of movies, photos and videos is stored.

The DMP-BDT230 is equipped with an Internet browser. The websites you view on your PC, smartphone or tablet can be displayed on a large-screen TV for everyone in the room to share. It's so much fun to watch news, online shopping sites, and search for information on a large screen, while sharing it all with family and friends.

2D-3D Conversion enables conversion of 2D images on DVDs and Blu-ray™ Discs into 3D images with natural depth perception. Screen type (flat or round), and frame colour are easily selectable. Watch your prized DVD movie collection in 3D for even greater viewing enjoyment. The DMP-BDT230 can also convert almost any content into 3D images with stunning depth.
